We asked our target audience questions relating to the genre of music we are filming our media product for. Through doing this it has outlines key features we need to include in the piece, and what our target audience wants from a music video.
Overall they said like the genre of indie-pop, and some even said that although they don't like the genre of indie-pop they would watch a music video of the same genre if it was of high quality. This is qualitative research where we gain individual feedback and analyse their responses individually.
By gaining this qualitative data, we can edit our plans for the video so that it appeals to a wider audience.
