I showed my promotional poster and got audience feedback from my main audience. I asked that people write the positives on one side and negatives on the other.
Here is the photo showing the comments they gave:
After reviewing the comments I understood they mainly didn't like the balloon being so infront of the text, so I needed to move it down. The audience also didn't like the colours of the poster, they wanted them to be punchier so that the poster stands out more. They said that the font didn't stand out so I will need to either change the colour of the font or put shadows onto it, I don't really want to change the colour because I feel white looks more professional. There are comments suggesting that I change the font because it doesn't suit the band however I do not agree with this because the font is professional and I have not seen another font that suits it more.
I then circled and annotated my poster to show what parts the audience wanted to change so it would be easier for me to go through and edit them. I compared it to the original to see how much I needed to change.
By gaining audience feedback I feel that I learn valuable knowledge about how I can change my poster and products to better suit the audiences' needs and wants.
